Esquipulas
Global Health Volunteers provide primary care and education to the residents in and around Esquipulas, Chiquimula, Guatemala. Our in-country partner and host is the Benedictine Community at the major Basilica in Esquipulas. We also work closely with the Esquipulas Health Department, local medical professionals, and a number of local community members who accompany us each day to provide assistance.
These collaborative efforts help move the communities we serve closer to self-sustainability.
Our teams include Primary Care Providers, Physical and Occupational Therapists, additional Clinical Staff, Health Educators and Support Staff. Bi-lingual staff, as well as Medical Interpreters, are especially needed.
