Global Health Volunteers currently serve in 4 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. We seek out the most impoverished areas and collaboratively work with our in-country partners as well as in-country volunteers to promote development and growth. We serve at the invitation of our in-country partners who connect the mission teams with patients that are most in need of health care. These partners also assist us with room, board and in-country transportation. These vital relationships allow for continued care in the form of medicine or treatment throughout the year, in a collaborative effort to maintain healthy communities.
Our teams work together to provide primary care service, surgical procedures, at home care to those people in the most remote areas, while conducting/assisting in regional and community health education programs.
